Our April 18 Beehive Community Dinner was a full house, with about 60 guests, great food, lively trivia, and an incredible team of volunteers making the evening possible. Now we’re getting ready for our final spring pilot dinner on May 9 — with tickets on sale now.

On March 14, we hosted our very first Beehive Dinner—and it was a full house. With 40 guests and 18 volunteers, the room was buzzing with conversation, connection, and community. From strangers becoming friends to shared meals and creative activities, the night showed what’s possible when people come together in a welcoming, low-pressure space. Here’s what we learned—and what’s next.

We’re excited to share that planning for our first Beehive Community Dinner is well underway. With our food permit approved, early funding coming together, and a date set for Saturday, March 14, things are starting to feel very real. The Beehive has a home! We’re thrilled to announce that our community dinners will be hosted at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in South Surrey — a warm, inclusive, and fully accessible space that aligns beautifully with our values.
