We’re excited to share that tickets are now available for our next Beehive Community Dinner on Saturday, April 18.
Our first dinner in March brought together 40 neighbours from across White Rock and Surrey for an evening of shared tables, homemade food, and easy conversation. It was a simple idea — but a meaningful one — and we’re looking forward to building on that momentum.
For our April dinner, we’ll be serving BBQ Sandwich Night, with pulled pork and a BBQ jackfruit & tofu vegetarian option, along with sides and a homemade dessert. We’re also planning a light, optional trivia night — something fun and low-key that adds a bit of energy to the evening while still leaving plenty of space for conversation.
As always, the evening is designed to be relaxed and welcoming. Come on your own or with others — we’ll take care of the rest.
Tickets are $10 per person, which covers about half of the cost of the meal, with the remainder supported through donations and grants. Our goal is to keep these dinners accessible while creating a space where neighbours can connect in a simple, genuine way.
We’ll be releasing 60 tickets, and our first dinner sold out, so we recommend booking early if you’d like to join us. Please note that ticket sales close at the end of the day on April 16 so we can purchase ingredients and begin preparing the meal.
If you’re able and would like to support future dinners, there’s also an option to add an optional donation when purchasing your ticket. This helps us cover more of the true cost of the meal, keep ticket prices low, and continue offering future dinners.
We’re grateful for the support we’ve received so far — and we’d love to have you join us for this next dinner.
