Tickets Are on Sale: Join Us November 7 for Cozy Chowder & Fall Fun
We’d love to welcome you to The Beehive Community Dinner: Cozy Chowder & Fall Fun on Saturday, November 7. Join neighbours from White Rock and Surrey for a homemade meal, shared tables and an easy evening together.

A fall meal to share
We’ll be serving vegetarian corn chowder, with bacon available separately as an optional topping, along with roasted fall vegetable salad, homemade biscuits with herb compound butter, and pumpkin pie bars.
Warm spiced apple cider and chilled sodas will be available for $2. Water, tea and coffee are complimentary.
Saturday, November 7 · 5:00–9:00 p.m.
Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2350 148 Street, Surrey
Standard tickets: $12 · Beehive Supporter tickets: $15
Choose the ticket that works for you
Earlier Beehive dinners were supported by grants, and that funding has now been used. We’ve raised ticket prices slightly to help the dinners continue while keeping a lower-priced option available. Both ticket types include the same meal and seat. The $15 Beehive Supporter ticket adds $3 toward the cost of preparing and hosting the dinner. Please choose one ticket type for each guest.
Everyone is welcome—come with friends or family, or on your own. Although we meet at a church, Beehive dinners are not religious events. People of all beliefs and backgrounds are welcome.
We haven’t scheduled our next dinner after November, so if you’ve been curious about joining us, this is a lovely opportunity to try a Beehive dinner. We’d be glad to welcome you on November 7.
Ticket sales close at the end of the day on Thursday, November 5, so our volunteers can shop and prepare the meal. If you’re able, you can also add an optional donation at checkout to help keep future Beehive dinners accessible. Donations are not eligible for tax receipts.
We’re still confirming the evening’s entertainment and will share details when they’re ready. Any activity will be optional, with plenty of time to enjoy dinner and conversation.
We hope you’ll join us for a cozy evening around the table. Come as you are, meet a few neighbours and enjoy a good meal together.
