When we first dreamed up The Beehive, the idea was simple, bring people together around the table. We believe that sharing food isn’t just about eating—it’s about connection, conversation, and creating a stronger community.

Now, as we get ready to launch The Beehive in White Rock and South Surrey, we’re looking for neighbours, friends, and partners who want to help us make it happen.

The Beehive is being built in the spirit of community. That means we can’t do it alone. Whether it’s your time, your talents, your voice, or your resources, every bit of support helps lay the foundation for this special space.

How You Can Help

• Volunteer your time: From cooking and setting up tables to greeting guests, playing music, providing entertainment, or simply sharing stories, volunteers bring the warmth and energy that make our dinners special.

  
  

• Spread the word: This is one of the most important ways you can support us. A simple share on social media, a quick chat with a friend or an invitation to a neighbour can go a long way in helping The Beehive grow. We won’t be able to truly take off unless people hear about us—your voice is what will bring others to the table.

  
  

• Share space or resources: Do you have access to community space, equipment, or supplies? Everything from serving dishes to board games helps us create a welcoming atmosphere.

  
  

• Donate: We’re working in a non-profit spirit, which means every dollar goes directly into food, supplies, and the costs of hosting our gatherings. Like any new project, there are start-up expenses to cover before we can get off the ground—things like dishes, website and promotion, and even evaluation to make sure we’re meeting our community’s needs. While we aren’t yet a registered charity, your support at this stage is what makes it possible to launch The Beehive and begin bringing people together.

  
  

• Buy a ticket: The simplest way to support The Beehive is to join us at the table. Ticket sales (coming soon!) go straight back into food, supplies, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome.
