After our three-dinner spring pilot, we’re excited to be gathering again this fall for another homemade meal, shared tables, and relaxed time with neighbours from White Rock and Surrey.

Chilli, Cornbread & Trivia
This dinner will feature vegetarian chilli, with chilli-spiced beef served separately as an optional topping. We’ll also have homemade cornbread with honey butter, blueberry swirl blondies, and plenty of toppings to make your bowl your own. We hope to have a limited number of gluten-free cornbread pieces available.
As always, dinner will be served family-style at shared tables. After the meal, we’ll have casual table trivia and a simple optional craft — easy ways to have a few laughs and get to know the people around you.
Saturday, September 12
5:00–9:00 p.m.
Mount Olive Lutheran Church, South Surrey
$10 tickets
Everyone is welcome
Whether you come with friends, family, or on your own, you will be warmly welcomed.
Although our dinners take place at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, The Beehive is not a religious initiative. People of all beliefs, backgrounds, ages and identities are welcome.
Keeping dinner accessible
Meals are made from scratch by volunteers, and tickets are kept at $10 so the dinners remain accessible. The actual cost of preparing and hosting each meal is closer to $20, with the difference supported by grants and community donations.
If you are able, you are welcome to add an optional donation at checkout. Any amount helps keep tickets affordable and makes future Beehive dinners possible. Donations are completely optional and are not eligible for tax receipts.
We hope you will join us — and perhaps invite a neighbour, friend, or family member too.
Save the date: Our next fall Beehive Community Dinner is planned for Saturday, November 7. Details and tickets will be announced soon.
