Could You Lend a Hand at Our September 12 Beehive Dinner?
Our September 12 Beehive Dinner is coming together beautifully, and tickets are moving quickly. We are looking for a few additional volunteers to help earlier in the day — especially with cooking preparation and dishwashing.
If you enjoy behind-the-scenes teamwork and helping create a welcoming evening for neighbours, we would be very grateful for your help.
If you might be available, please email us at thebeehive.communitydinners@gmail.com and let us know what kind of help you may be able to offer.

Tickets Are Moving Quickly
If you have been thinking about joining us, we encourage you to reserve your ticket soon—more than half of the tickets have already been sold. We have space for just 60 guests, and tickets need to be purchased by September 10 so our volunteer team can shop and prepare the meal.
Join us for The Beehive Community Dinner: Chilli, Cornbread & Trivia:
Vegetarian chilli with an optional chilli-spiced beef topping
Homemade cornbread with honey butter
Blueberry swirl blondies
Shared tables, casual trivia and a simple optional craft
Saturday, September 12 · 5:00–9:00 p.m.
Mount Olive Lutheran Church, South Surrey
$10 tickets
As always, everyone is welcome—come with friends or family, or come on your own and meet a few neighbours.
Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets, shared our posts, made a donation or offered their time. The Beehive works because so many neighbours help make it happen.
